Hi, I'm Dr. Martin Earles

Hi, I'm Martin Earles.  I graduated from Massey University in Palmerston North, NZ in 1993.  After working in Auckland for 6 years in general small animal practice, I moved back to my hometown of Tauranga where I worked in mixed practice for 18 years.  More recently I have moved back to small animal practice and have developed a special interest in avian and exotic pet medicine and surgery since 2000.  In 2019 I gained Membership to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in the subject of Medicine and Surgery of Unusual Pets.  

In December 2021, I started Tauranga Exotic Vets and work out of The Referral Centre in Tauranga.  I still do some work as an emergency veterinarian at the Bay After Hours Veterinary Hospital which is located in the same premises.  I really enjoy being a rabbit, reptile and bird vet.
